Configuration, troubleshooting, & operation of SymCloud\'s cloud based IP-PABX unified communications platform \"symuc.net\" that also includes Android & iOS apps. Reporting bugs/issues to development team, and getting them fixed. Helped the development team in fixing numerous bugs in order to improve the platform.
Setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer network (Cisco switches, Juniper SRX240 firewalls, Linux based OS-level firewalls, VOIP Gateway, and Dell PowerEdge R910 servers) with full redundancy. Was instrumental in improving network latency by 10% by removing bottlenecks.
Creation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux virtual machines using VMware ESX-i/vSphere.
Configuration and troubleshooting of various Linux and Windows virtualized servers like
DNS, Jumphost, Mail server, FreeNAS server, Cpanel & WHM, Docker (including implementation of Docker containers), unified communications servers, OTRS ticketing system, DNS only, Web Application Firewall (Pfsense), Antivirus software, and VPN.
Give technical demos to companies interested in products offered by SymCloud. Gave demos to SCO, PTCL, Ufone, Nayatel, and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).
Maintain a record of private and public IP tables, physical infrastructure, rack layout and wiring, logical and physical network diagrams.
Setting up and using IT infrastructure monitoring tool PRTG to monitor hardware and operating systems resources.

• Resolution of operational issues by sending worst cases to field ops. team for rectification

• Study the WARP Platform (hardware/ software)
• Measure the existing range of two WARP boards and to analyze results of network performance between them
• Extending the range of WARP boards using amplifiers and filters

Major responsibilities include performing the following:
• Commissioning of Nokia Flexi EDGE BTS sites
• Alarm troubleshooting of Nokia Flexi EDGE BTS sites
• Alarm creation and adjustment of Nokia Flexi EDGE BTS sites
• Inventory management of Nokia Flexi EDGE BTS sites of Central region

Major responsibilities included performing the following:

• Performance analysis of the radio network using different Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) (CSSR/DCR/HOSR, TCH Availability/blocking) & TRAU failures of ex-Siemens and ex-Nokia (swap sites) on daily basis and take appropriate actions
• Analysis of worst cells on daily basis and escalating them to concerned team for resolution
• Second line maintenance of Siemens BTS, Nokia Ultra Site 2G BTS and Flexi EDGE BTS sites
• Single point of contact for NOC for BTS quality alarms
• Troubleshooting of no voice/data cells on daily basis and escalating them to field teams
• BTS Performance KPI’s degradation (customer complaints)
• Providing support to field persons during swap activity of sites from ex-Siemens to ex-Nokia
